The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Marketing provides the core knowledge of branding and marketing that leads effective strategic marketing decision making, which helps to maintain a competitive advantage.

To achieve a “PASS“ for a unit, a student must complete the learning outcomes to meet the assessment criteria set by OTHM.
Successful completion of this course enables students to progress their professional career, and/or progress to higher levels of study. As this L7 diploma qualification is regulated and approved by OFQUAL (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), students can progress onto Master’s top-up programmes with advanced standing at many of the UK and international universities.

For entry into this course, students must meet the following criteria:
• A UK level 6 diploma or an honours degree or equivalent qualification.
• The learner should be 21 or older at the time of enrollment.
• Mature learners are advised to have management experience.
Learners are expected to have English language proficiency of CEFR Level B2, this can be met in any one the following ways:
• Being a native English language speaker
• Having achieved an IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
• Having had your last two years of schooling in English
• Passing our online English language test
Awarding body fee of £300 is payable by the learner to the awarding organisation within 14 days of starting the course. This will be collected from the learner and passed on to the awarding organisation for registration and certification purposes. The final certification you get is the same, regardless of your route. There are no strict deadlines for submitting individual coursework, allowing you room and flexibility to pace your studies; the only deadline is the overall course duration based on the option you selected above.

Six necessary units totalling 120 credits, 1200 hours of total qualification (TQT), and 600 guided learning hours (GLH) are required to complete the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Marketing.

I have worked in education for 34 years, in various guises. I managed a busy nursery for 12 years before branching out into Assessment and Quality Assurance, more than 20 years ago. My practice has developed alongside the ever-evolving training and apprenticeship sector, and I have worked in many different settings, including colleges, private training agencies and a foster care agency. I also work part time as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant for a local charity that supports higher level education for young people with Special Educational and/or behavioural needs and as a tutor for a bespoke programme for one-to-one support.
