This OTHM Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management provides learners with the core knowledge needed to manage projects at various strategic levels. The qualification is designed to be completed over one year of full-time study. All units within this course are internally verified by our qualified assessors and externally verified by OTHM. This Level 7 Postgraduate management diploma course is criterion-referenced, based on specific learning outcomes. To achieve a “PASS” for a unit, a student must complete the learning outcomes to meet the assessment criteria set by OTHM.
The Level 7 Diploma in Project Management qualification is based on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) equivalent to a Master’s degrees. A Level 7 Diploma is shorter than a Master’s degree, but learners can still get direct entry at dissertation level into a University’s Masters programme.
Successful completion of this diploma course enables students to progress their professional career in leadership and management, and/or to advance to higher levels of study. As this qualification is regulated and approved by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), students are eligible to progress for pursue Master’s top-up programmes with advanced standing at many of the UK and international universities.

For entry into this course, students must meet the following criteria:
• A UK level 6 diploma or an honours degree or equivalent qualification.
• The learner should be 21 or older at the time of enrollment.
• Mature learners are advised to have management experience.
Learners are expected to have English language proficiency of CEFR Level B2, this can be met in any one the following ways:
• Being a native English language speaker
• Having achieved an IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
• Having had your last two years of schooling in English
• Passing our online English language test
Awarding body fee of £300 is payable by the learner to the awarding organisation within 14 days of starting the course. This will be collected from the learner and passed on to the awarding organisation for registration and certification purposes. The final certification you get is the same, regardless of your route. There are no strict deadlines for submitting individual coursework, allowing you room and flexibility to pace your studies; the only deadline is the overall course duration based on the option you selected above.

The OTHM level 7 certificate in project management certification allows diploma graduates to advance into or within the workforce and to continue their studies toward a master’s degree that is an appropriate programme with advanced standing at many universities in the UK and abroad.
The OTHM level 7 diploma in project management consists of five required units totalling 120 credits, 1200 total qualifying hours (TQT), and 480 guided learning hours (GLH) for the qualification to be passed.
Based on the regulated qualifications framework (RQF), the level 7 diploma in project management qualification is equal to a master’s degree. Although a level 7 diploma is shorter than a master’s degree, students can still enter a university’s master’s programme directly at the dissertation level.
An Honours degree, a UK certificate 6, or an equivalent degree in a comparable field; mature students with administrative experience; age 21 or older at the start of the programme; and English language proficiency if not from a country where English is the language of the majority.
Learners must demonstrate evidence that they have achieved most of the results, which might be learning to meet the requirements set by all assessment criteria to receive a “Pass” for a unit/course quickly.

I have worked in education for 34 years, in various guises. I managed a busy nursery for 12 years before branching out into Assessment and Quality Assurance, more than 20 years ago. My practice has developed alongside the ever-evolving training and apprenticeship sector, and I have worked in many different settings, including colleges, private training agencies and a foster care agency. I also work part time as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant for a local charity that supports higher level education for young people with Special Educational and/or behavioural needs and as a tutor for a bespoke programme for one-to-one support. I really enjoy supporting learners of varying abilities and experience to achieve their best and to become qualified in their chosen field.
