The aim of this NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business: Enterprise is to develop a core understanding of skills required to work in a business environment, and to give the learner an understanding of the foundations of business, responsibilities, and culture. This L3 Business Diploma qualification allows learners to develop skills to communicate, solve problems, work efficiently with others, and learn how to improve and manage their performance in business settings and lead towards the first step of entrepreneurship. The Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business: Enterprise is accredited by UK OFQUAL, is delivered 100% online, and lets learners earn UCAS points.
This L3 Diploma in Enterprise course is designed to be completed over one-year of full-time study. However, we provide flexible, self-paced delivery through our online portal. This means that with dedication, the course may be completed far sooner, or if you are busy and can’t dedicate much time to the course, you may take longer than wo years. The qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Our online tutor support is there to facilitate you to achieve your success rate accordingly.
All units within this NCFE L3 online course are internally verified by our qualified assessors and externally verified by NCFE. This course is criterion-referenced, based on specific learning outcomes. Each unit is graded using the following structure; Not Yet Achieved, Pass, Merit, and Distinction.
Successful completion of this Level 3 Business course enables learners to get direct entry into Level 4 business diplomas, such as the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and Business or the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Business Management. You could also progress onto level 4 courses in other areas, dependent on the eligibility requirements. As this Diploma is regulated and approved by OFQUAL (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulations), learners will also get the opportunity to progress to higher levels of study at UK universities or HE colleges. Completion will give learners UCAS points, the amount of which are dependent on your grade. Learners get: 24 for a pass, 48 for merit, 72 for a distinction, and 84 for a distinction*.

For entry into this course, students must meet the following criteria:
• The NCFE Level 3 Diploma can be offered to students aged 16 and above. BSLM does not specify learning requirements for such qualifications. However, students may find it useful if they have already achieved a Level 2 qualification.
• We ensure that students admitted to the program have the capability to undertake assessments and meet learning criteria.
• We ensure learners are enrolled with integrity onto the right qualification that will meet their needs, facilitate and enable achievement, and provide learning progression.
• This course is offered in English.
Learners are expected to have English language proficiency of CEFR Level B2, this can be met in any one the following ways:
1. Being a native English language speaker
2. Having achieved an IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
3. Having had your last two years of schooling in English
4. Passing our online English language test
Awarding body fee of £156 is payable by the learner to the awarding organisation within 14 days of starting the course. This will be collected from the learner and passed on to the awarding organisation for registration and certification purposes. The final certification you get is the same, regardless of your route. There are no strict deadlines for submitting individual coursework, allowing you room and flexibility to pace your studies; the only deadline is the overall course duration based on the option you selected above.

I am an enthusiastic educationist who is a fellow of the higher education academy and I have completed my Doctorate of Business Administration. I worked as an accountant and business consultant up until 2017, where I started exploring my capabilities in academia and teaching. From that point, I haven’t looked back, and have gone from strength to strength. I have worked in education for 34 years, in various guises. I managed a busy nursery for 12 years before branching out into Assessment and Quality Assurance, more than 20 years ago. My practice has developed alongside the ever-evolving training and apprenticeship sector, and I have worked in many different settings, including colleges, private training agencies and a foster care agency. I also work part time as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant for a local charity that supports higher level education for young people with Special Educational and/or behavioural needs and as a tutor for a bespoke programme for one-to-one support. I really enjoy supporting learners of varying abilities and experience to achieve their best and to become qualified in their chosen field.
